Javon was chosen as April’s Youth of the Month because he displays positive behavior and is always willing to include other members in games. Staff appreciate Javon for his outgoing personality and his humor.
Javon has been a Club member since the beginning of the 2010/2011 school year. He is an active participant in the Club and attends Torch Club, Good Fellas, and Gardening Club. His favorite Club games include sproutball, medicball, and dodgeball. So, we can assume it is safe to say Javon loves the
gym and being active!
Another thing Javon loves to do is dance. Give the kid a beat and he is ready to move. This makes Javon great at Just Dance for the Wii.
Although Javon is an active kid, he also likes reading. His favorite book is Rabbit Hill by Robert Lawson.
Everyone enjoys Javon, staff love his enthusiasm to help and the younger members look up to him. Javon has a great attitude and we are lucky to have him as a part of the Ferndale Boys & Girls Club.
