Ty is 17 years old and has been coming to the Boys & Girls Club of Ferndale for 6 years. Ty was nominated by Club Staff as Youth of the Year because he has a great attitude, is willing to help younger members, is a great role model and always has a smile on his face. Ty is a great helper for Staff too, he will help teach new members Club rules for games like Sprout Ball and he helps out when he sees that someone needs a hand. Ty's favorite activities at the Club are gym games, teen nights & teen overnighters. Ty is an excellent athlete and is a great kickball team captain. Ty lives in Ferndale with his Mom, Dad, Brother & Sister. Ty's family is very important to him. At school Ty's favorite classes are world history, mythology & PE.
