YOM January-Melodi

Melodi has been named Youth of the Month for January. Melodi was nominated as YOM by club staff for her great attitude, being helpful to other members and staff alike and participating in lots of activities. Melodi is a seventh grader at Vista Middle School, she has been coming to the Boys & Girls Club for 8 months, ever since moving to Ferndale. Originally from Tehran, Iran Melodi and her family recently immigrated to the United States. In their free time both Melodi and her parents have been busy learning English. Melodi has a younger sister who attends the Boys & Girls Club as well. At the Club Melodi likes to play Apples to Apples. prison bombardment and medic ball. She also regularly participates in teen nights. Melodi's favorite book is Seven Secrets to Success by Richard Webster. Congratulations on being YOM Melodi!
