Summer here at the Club is in full swing. We are busy with lots of kids, field trips and fun. We have between 60-90 kids at the Club each day with 3-4 field trips each week.
The August Fishwrapper is currently available at the Club. We've added the following field trips:
8/4 YMCA Rock wall $10
8/6 Movie: Alvin & The Chipmunks $5
8/12 Elizabeth Park & Mallards Ice-Cream $6
Our Club will also be participating in the Whatcom County Club's Summer Olympics on Friday 08/08/08 (The same day the Summer Olympics begin in Beijing). We will be defending our title as the overall winning Club! If your child is interested in participating please talk to Matt at the Club.
Sign-ups for our 2008/2009 school year program begin Monday August 11, 2008. At that time SILVER memberships will be available for $25 (good September 2008-August 2009) as well as sign-ups for before (early bird) and after school programs. The early bird program is open all school days (and non-school days like teacher work days) beginning at 7am. Early bird costs just $85 per month per child and includes breakfast, fun and safe activities and transportation to school. Space is limited so please sign up early to ensure your child's place. After school we will be providing transportation from Central Elementary to the Club for $12 per month per child. We are hoping to add transportation from other schools to the Club as well.
The last day of the Club's summer program will be Wednesday August 20. We will re-open the first day of school on September 3, 2008.
