This weekend I saw a poster advertising talking with your kids early about drinking and alcohol. This is a tough conversation for many parents. Studies show that youth are drinking and experimenting with drugs & alcohol earlier and earlier, making it important to open the lines of communication with your 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th graders and beyond. The Boys & Girls Club also offers a number of small groups that help educate and inform our members about drugs & alchohol, dating, respect and other issues youth today are facing.
