The Club loves to take field trips to Lake Samish but we have not been able to the past two summers since there have been no lifeguards....So when I saw this I thought I would try and get the word out...
Whatcom County is currently seeking experienced lifeguards to guard at Lake Samish this summer. I can't think of a more exciting and fun summer job! Candidates must be at least 16 years old to guard a lake. In addition they need to have some guarding experience either in a pool or a lake. The Lead Lifeguard needs 2 years of experience and needs to be waterfront certified. For more information and how to apply click here.
