December Newsletter

Can you believe it is nearly the end of 2012?! We can barely believe it! We are so glad that 2012 has been a great year here at the Club. We are serving around 130 members a day and we hope to have even more members come through our doors in 2013.

We will be ending the year off with some great things this month, including: Family Fun Night, Teen Night, and a fun winter break schedule. Please check out our newsletter below for more information. December

Please mark your calendars November is full of early release days and closures!
Wednesday November 7- Grades k-6 Early Release Day* and the Club Closes at 5:30pm**
Monday November 12- Veterans Day- Club Closed
Wednesday November 15- Grades k-6 Early Release Day* and the Club Closes at 5:30pm**
November 16-21 All grades Early Release Days* and the Club Closes at 5:30pm
November 22/23 Happy Thanksgiving! Club Closed


*Please remember there is a $1fee on all early release days; payment can be made in advance or sent with your child(ren) the day of.
** The teen center is open from 2:30-7pm as teens do not have early release.

Happy Halloween

It's Halloween and as always the Ferndale Boys & Girls Club is excited to offer lots of fun activities for the kids in our community. We will be participating in the Downtown Trick or Treat from 3-6pm. Additionally we will have a Halloween Fair in our gym with games and prizes from 5:15-6:30pm. If you are in costume and would like to trick or treat with Staff Nicole be at the Club from 6:30-7pm!

Worldwide Day of Play

Saturday, October 6, 2012 has been deemed Worldwide Day of Play. In honor of this fun day, and to promote active playtime with our community youth, the Club will be open Saturday 10/6 from 11a to 1:30p.

Staff will be here to play games and we will even have the United STate Tennis Association here playing/teaching tennis to the kids.

Any community child, grades K-12, is invited to come to this event where we will learn new games, have snack, and have a lot of fun!
